Its probably geared for city use, and it probably has zero aftermarket value, but couldn't I beef up the engine and sell the rest of the body? I can't believe I'm thinking of this, but what an incredible tow rig this could be.
I have to think that I could sell things like the water pump, tank, valves, gauges, and other assorted parts for more than what I paid, and still end up with a turbo-diesel monster that could tow almost anything.
... tow anything slowly, that is
Kenny.... You are my kind of twisted.
Haven't you wanted to build your own Blastolene?
Or just go all street rod fire truck...
Would this help talk you out of it?

When I lived in Montgomery, AL, a fellow had a smaller vesion of this and used it to do lawn treatments. He was a hit with the the kids.

Oh the options. The variations.
Try to find a ladder truck. That will get you hydraulics for a tilting bed.
A local farmer bought one to put a silage box on. He tried to sell the back for a couple years and it finally sent for scrap. They have very limited value even as parts.
I'll sell you mine for much, much less....
