On tv today...

I don't have cable or dish, but even so I have a tendency to watch too much tv when I have time off.

This morning, on RTV, I saw an episode of "The Rifleman", that must have been the series "pilot" episode. In it Lucus McKane has just arrived at NorthFork to buy a ranch when he gets caught up in a shooting contest.....which later turns into a gun fight (it is The Rifleman, after all). Anyway, writing credits list Sam Peckinpah as the writer, and the episode guest starred Dennis Hopper.

For those who think they know Christopher Walken in all his many roles....this afternoon, ThisTV has the movie "Puss in Boots" starring Mr. Walken. Aside from the fact that P in B is a "kid's movie", the really SURREAL part is that Mr. Walken has a SINGING AND DANCING role in this movie musical.

You know Walken does Broadway shows, right?

walken is amazing... 1st recall paying attention in Weapon Of Choice...

Walken on Broadway? Hmmm, I'd pay to see that.

Walken did the choreography for that video. Starring in it was almost secondary to that fact.

Watch some of the SNL bits with Walken singing and dancing.

Walken was at his best in Joe Dirt.

Funny, I can almost see (I DID see the movie, yesterday) Walken doing some dancing OR singing....but both, in the same movie? Kind of a cute "kids movie", tho.
