And 2016, the cold-hearted bitch that she is, teases us with a Kardashian merely being hospitalized yesterday.

I don't know virtually all of those people. I think it is a stretch to say they were all famous people.

Why don't we just list all the people who died in 2016?

Agreed that the list is heavy on entertainment figures, especially music. Still a lot of ultra famous.

Sports Illustrated put Maria Teresa de Filippis on their list, who died this year at 89. She was the first - and one of only two women so far - to drive in F1 races.

SI also has (who I didn't see listed) Kimbo Slice and Dave Mirra (suicide possibly related to CTE), and the other two drivers they list are Lennie Pond and Bryan Clauson. Among many other athletes and sports journalists.

CNN's tried to make an objective count and found that 2016 wasn't as bad as 2006:

I'm pretty sure we can't count Keith Richards as still alive because Disney replaced him with an animatronic sometime in the 80's.

Seriously, have you seen video of a any performance in the last 20 years? I'm pretty sure it isn't even up to current Disney standards.
