How did I miss this thread last night?? All good suggestions, though the initial reply is correct: Frying it is The One True Way. All other versions are interesting, delicious detours.
If'n you want to get fancy, fry the spam with pineapple chunks. Serve over crispy Chow Mein noodles (the kind in the can, because a correct SPAM meal is entirely can-based).

My folks used to rave about brains with scrambled eggs. Still not sure if they were just doing that to freak me out--they seemed dead serious at the time.

my Mom used to serve that to us kids ( pig brains actually) didn't really care for it .... now Spam... I <3 Spam .... fried as has been noted
thin sliced so it's crispy or thicker sliced on lower heat ... after flipping add a slice of cheese ... yummmmmmmm
posted that before I finished the thread ... saw that many others had experience with pig brains

I've always just did the thin slices fried and served with eggs. But now I have to go get a Costco sized pallet of Spam to try all these yummy ideas
