Begging to paint the outside of my house. T-11 siding and rough sawn wood trim. Was all one color before (beige)  will now have dark brown trim and beige siding.

What to paint first? If I do the siding first, I'll surely drip dark trim paint on it. However, if I do the trim first, I'm sure to get light paint on it. 38 rolls of tape? Just live with hours of touch up?

Using a brush and roller. Tried a sprayer once, it didn't go well....

Paint the body of home first (the siding).  You can (should) even paint the sides of the trim where it meets the siding.

Then paint the trim with a small fuzzy roller.  Just roll the faces of the trim.

Just finished one this evening.  I'm ol' Skool... use a brush and check it out close up.  I'm sure of the coverage that way.

I don't use tape, even inside, just high quality brushes for those clean lines.

OBTW, caulk everything first.  Caulk makes a huge difference.   (shot 24 tubes in the last two days wink)
