Forgive me for I have sinned*...
I had just returned from worship, still adorned in the holy ornamnets, when on a 4-lane highway I met a Porsche 911 GT3...
...belonging to a high-ranking member of another denomination of the Church. Although we found ourselves in a situation ripe for sinful behavior, I at first was able to resist the temptation but when the GT3 began to act lewdly and lasciviously my lust could not be contained. This behavior attracted the attention of another and soon devolved into a depraved three-way orgy of speedultery.
*Someone else started it though
forgive me for it has been 84 days since i last worshiped.
alas, thine divine Rcomps grip gain purchase NOT in the snow. I shall substitute worship in the garage until my next chance to worship which looks to be in 103 days.
( i HATE you people with your warm climates and your year round autocross schedule! )

Actually we have few if any autocrosses or dexterities in the "winter" months, for no reason. There happens to be one in December this year. We don't seem to have that problem with any offroad events though.
I would still venture to guess that your off season dosent last from Halloween to the beginning of May.
I worshiped at the alter of the Snowy Church of the Heavenly Cone yesterday.

2 days ago the thermometer read -15 F here

In traffic, last summer..
Driving my beater 1981 Turbo T/A Rust holes and all but damn does it go fast and handle nice (thank you circle track catalogue)
I pulled up next to a late-30-something guy with a golf shirt, raybans and male-pattern baldness driving his 1985 Corvette convertible. I was already kinda laughing about the stereotype (hey, I drive a 2nd gen F-body, I know stereotypes) when I hear "free bird" blasting from his stereo.
I pulled next to him as the light turned green and yelled "WOOOOHOOOO, SKYNRD!!!!!" out my window, threw him the horns and took off.
Much foolishness ensued for the next 10 miles or so.

There is half a tree on top of my garage right now, blown down by some kind of crazy wind storm here in P-town. I have to give my landlord props for such a sturdy carport Oh well, Icebreaker is in Febuary, and the Festiva's still not done.
I had a rally cross this morning when i didn't have time to snow blow the drive way... go as fast as i can without losing traction then blow thrue the foot high crest left by the plow. Hey, i have to do something to keep myself entertained
I am cold and neither of "MY" cars run yet. Thank grip that I carpool.
There may have been a transgression involving this rental while "working" in AZ this past week.

Forgive me for I have wandered.
Even here in CO, we do have a year round auto-X schedule and in times when the events get cancelled, we have Ice cross on a frozen pond, but I have sucumbed to tempation ot the two wheel variety.
For this weekend, I did travel 6 hours, one-way, for a ride, without pavement, while my CRX languished in a garaged half-re-assembled...

"Children understand the prophet: Regardless of wether you worship weekly or ocassionally, once you submit yourself to Grip, Grip will always travel with you. Be it on sand or through air, sea or on snow, the spirit and sanctity of traction will guide your path."
John, I assure you, Grip has forsaken me on more than one occasion.
Grip in spirit alone does not make traction

You gotta believe..and buy the most expensive tires you can. Faith requires (monetary) sacrifice.
