Ok, I goofed and I need your help. I have a PC running XP that I used as a DVR and to watch tv on the net. Well, it has been running slow lately so I went into the Task Manager and cancelled some processes. Well, I went to click on a particular process and as I did the list shifted down and I ended a process that has killed my sound. I’ve restarted it twice, asked it nicely 3 times and even told it I no longer like Mac’s, all to no avail.
Can any of you help me figure this out?

Learn to read lips??

I'm guessing go into device manager, find the audio devices and make sure they are enabled?

It might pay to reinstall the latest audio driver for whatever sound card or onboard card you're using.

You'll need to log in to post.
