It's New Years Eve. Still don't know if we should go out, stay in, take a drive, or go to bed.
What are your plans for this years' turning of the calendar?

After a day of trying to re-engineer this pinbook-found Lego-storage/-building table that my wife wanted me to build and an evening of running the "out with the old" Bingo at the kids' school, my plans are to take some ibuprofen and collapse into my bed. I swear I used to be more interesting than this.
wifes family has one last christmas party starting at 5, im leaving early so i can get home before the drunks start migrating around. i stay home on new years
I'm working from home today. I'll be done around 3pm. Taking our kids to Six Flags until around 8pm or so. After that, my wife and I will eat dinner and go to bed by 10:00. New Years isn't a big deal to us, and we're not late night owls anyway.
Couch potato watching football with beer in hand. If I'm awake at midnight, "Happy new year!". If not eh.
Waiting....
We made no holiday plans at all this year.
Julie, my wife, is at week 39.....
We are at the doctor's office right now for possibly the last check up.

I will be selling a bunch of those. Work until 8 and back in at 7 means go home, go to bed.
We are going across the street. Old friends are in town from Pittsburg. I will be surprised if I make it to midnight though. It has been a long week.
Going to the wife's cousins for a small family get together, there better be football on the tv, or ima be pissed
My anniversary is tomorrow. Nothing tonight but heading downtown sans kids to stay tomorrow day/night.
Going to my buddy's house to drink beers and play old Nintendo games outside. He has a projector to display it on the back of his garage/barn.
Happy New Year's everyone!
Having a few friends and their kids over to the casa for some youth friendly shenanigans. Guessing sparkling cider and sugared up kids are the game plan.
Well I work untill 11. And then as soon as I get off im gonna go out with some girlfriends dance a lil and try to forget how old I am
Whatever you all decide to do, be careful on the road. Cops call this "amatuer night".
Once you know what you are looking for with impaired drivers, the roads are downright terrifying after 12:15 a.m. The last time I drove home on New Year's after midnight, three drivers around me actually put on their brakes in the middle of I-94 because a Crown Vic was merging on and they wanted to be sure it was in front of them. Obviously, 1. they were all impaired and 2. they all knew they shouldn't be driving.
BTW - said Crown Vic looked like this:
The best advice I can give you is plan to stay or get home before midnight.
Staying in this year (as usual) I'll be finishing up the renovations to our master bedroom, then watching Netflix and playing Skyrim till I fall asleep at 11:30
We were going to a friend's house in town and planning on being home before midnight, but my lovely wife just texted saying she's getting a migraine. So I'll probably drink a few beers and putter around the shop in preparation for a weekend full of wrench turning. Springs, camber plates, and panhard bar on the Mustang, and if that goes well, oil change, fuel filter, and figure out why the dash lights don't on the Too Fiddy.
Good times.
