Weird dude! I am very aware of those. I am literally walking distance from there right now! (In a certain large collection of buildings near by)
Apparently Richard is a super nice guy, and if you catch him at the right time he will show you around. It's that building on the corner, right?
Yes, you do see some interesting cars around here. There is someone where I work that regularly drives a bright yellow Europa to work! I have even followed a Noble M400 on my way home a few times! (I just looked up what that is... zowie!)
Hey, if you have any urge to AutoX. The Corvair club I belong to tries to do two AutoX's a year down in Camarillo. You get a pretty interesting selection of cars there sometimes (Cobras, pro touring guys etc). Send me an IM if you are interested and I can send you a flyer when they come up (normally May / September, but I haven't heard what is going on this year yet).
You're at A? I used to work there about a decade ago in LAR. Someone in our parking garage had an NSX when I was there. Haven't seen a Europa around, though. I had to look up pics of the Noble right now too. Wow, that car is a looker, didn't dare look at the specs/price hahaha.
I heard the same about Richard, you're right, it is on the corner. I should really take a walk over there on my break.
Really appreciate your offer, and glad to hear there is AutoX nearby, are they at the airport? I've only ever done something resembling AutoX at the Lexus drive events, it was fun and I'd like to try it someday. I'll have to take you up on that in the future, just have to get all these car and home projects juggled out before I can budget any time or money to anything else.
Cheers! (and sorry for the threadjack, OP)
There are three Elise/Exiges by me, one is a highly modded S1 that holds the local track record:
One is a rich guy's toy that he just drives on the street (very nice looking black S2), and one is another rich guy's street toy - Silver S2. Guy lives in the middle of nowhere and actually has to drive it down some trails to get to his house I only know where he lives because I passed the place on an offroad TSD rally.
There's a GTR and an Evo X going around too, and I saw a Morgan 4/4 once late last year.
we had a customer with one and it's got one of the hardest to modulate 1st gear clutch engagements ive ever driven. i never got comfortable enough to even say i really drove it.
i was told it's something weird like you dont give it any throttle and the computer compensates for engagement by adding throttle input of its own which just throws off the dance for me, along with the fact that i was mildly freaked out about driving someone else's $450k car in a crappy city with gawkers everywhere.
Not a GT, but my Dad was in Burbank a month or so back and took a photo of a car he didn't recognize. It was a newer Bugatti and parked in front of store just like a normal car. Of course there was a Rolls and a Ferrari 458 in front of the same store. It was yellow and silver...

What are we looking out the dash of in that pic? Cayman?
There are lots of supercars on the streets around here in Sarasota. There is a yellow Carrera GT that I've seen enough times to be pretty sure the guy daily drives it. Must be nice!

A GT3 RS 4.0, perchance...

It happened to belong to a current Indycar driver at the time... He also owned the red car... There's a hint in the license plate frame.
I saw Leno driving his GT up the 101 on Thanksgiving last year.

Who knew that marginally-successful Indycar drivers could make that kind of coin? Or, is the lad tapping his inheritance a bit early?

Nope, it's all him. He has a rotating cast of cars and motorcycles at all times. Shortly after I was there, he sold the RS 4.0 and picked up a MP4-12C. I think he had a 599 GTO recently, too.
