$1000? That's not bad. Not bad at all. If that's a Xenon body kit, those were something north of $700.

1972 Ford 360 w/ 3 Speed Transimission - $800 (Cleveland, GA)
How about a 59500$ 1974 Super Beetle?
It looks very clean, and original, but even if it was the nicest Super Beetle in the world, this is pure crack pipe territory.
We should take up a donation just to buy that and burn it. It seems like the responsible thing to do for the car community as a whole.
This one is just.....I don't know.

Is it someone taking the piss or is it serious?

Except the 16-valve Cosworth motor is very desireable and was essentially the forebearer to the motor in the SRT and PT turbo. Also the 5-speed was from Getrag and originally built for a mid engined corvette project, so its pretty damned strong.

1964 Ford Fairlane 500 - $2000
Delusional might be a bit of an understatement.
1964 Ford Fairlane 500 4-door in refrigerator white. 260ci V8 with Ford-o-matic transmission. Reliable daily driver, I put 200 miles on it a week. Odometer reads 29,XXX miles. Some rust, but car is solid. Replaced all ignition components. Installed Holley 600 carb and 4-barrel intake, freshly tuned. Upgraded to dual-circuit brakes. Just replaced front floor pans, still needs trunk pan. Interior is rough (not my area of expertise). Everything works (except gas gauge), including the original AM/FM stereo. No missing trim. Includes pictured 15" rims and original 14" rims.
