With an actual steel bed from a real pickup, I'd call that thing cool.

Pretty loose interpretation of the term "Rat Rod". That being said, I really like it.

I kind of like it too - but I agree it would be even better with a steel bed.

Without an asking price I don't think you can call it delusional. I'm not a fan, but that thing SCREAMS 60's built hot rod. Needs some surfboards hanging out the back.

The only delusion I'm seeing here is how whoever built it could have tracked down a Studebaker Champ if he really wanted a truck with a car cabin.

4 speed 69 coupe shouldn't be -that- rare. Plus another 15k and a lot of time to make it a 15k NOM car. That is if the frame and birdcage isn't rotten.... I love Corvette for sale adds

Not necessarily 'delusional', and actually not even on Craigslist- but this one was so bizarre when I came across it on letgo that I couldn't not pass it on...

This was my very first time seeing a letgo ad. I gotta say, I'm not disappointed.

That one is an outlier. In several ways- for one, a seeming majority (at least of things I actually look closer at) have no description at all- people do exactly what the ads say you can do: take a picture and post it and the app/site will try and automatically generate a short description (like the above 'bmw gray car') and maybe put a price down. Ones that actually bother to take the time to write descriptions tend to be about as informative as your average CL ad- in fact I tend to see most of the cars listed on letgo also listed on CL.

On the whole it's proving to be a good addition to CL- I tend to list things on both sites, but lean toward letgo for things that I don't really want to write out a long description of and/or am only listing for $5-10. For bigger things (like the Elky) I put them on both with an abbreviated description on letgo.

I'm.... not sure whether I should count this as delusional or not. KBB certainly thinks I should- even in excellent condition it gives it a value of only $1250. Honestly though, were it cheaper I'd be very tempted to pick it up- it looks like it would be a lot of fun. God help me were it Challenge-priced....

I realize that the Datsun 510 is an iconic car, and I have wanted one in the past, but is a 4 door with box flares really worth $30,000?
