As an aside from the "other hobbies" thread, i thought i'd start a dog thread. i know most of us have posted our dogs at one time or another, this is so they can all go in one thread

Belle the wonder beagle, and Maggie.

Maggie is a shih-tzu/poodle mix. She eats anything (including phones) and is now almost as big as Belle.

This is Shelby. She died just before Thanksgiving, she was my best friend, 11 years old and the sweetest dog anyone had ever met.

This is Ralph. We adopted him when his owners were moving into a high-rise in Chicago, which seemed to us like a reason not to move....
He is 5 years old, BIG for a Golden, and is a very nice dog, although he was never trained so he doesn't listen all that well.

I present to you: Clara Belle

Named after a cow on an uncle-in-laws farm. In theory, she's a pure bred American Cocker Spaniel, though we're fairly sure there's water spaniel in her. Fur is entirely wrong, as is her nose. She's parti-coloured, which is fairly rare (black, white and brown). She's nearly 12, hopefully we get a few more year's with her. When she's gone, I think we'll go a bit without, as I've had dogs for more or less my entire lifetime. Have to spend time thinking of what to get next.

The real question is, what do they drive? Miata?

Tokyo Auto Salon. I saw them last year and passed. I said I'd buy them if I ever saw them again, and this year they had them. They're Endless suits. What do they drive? Me. Nuts.

This is our Bulldog Sadie. We adopted her in August of this year. She is the most loving dog, I can't imagine why someone would give up a dog like this, but their giving her up, let us give her a good loving home. She is pretty big for a female bulldog, ~62lbs, although that is down from the weight she was when we adopted her she was 68lbs and after reading the adoption papers when she was dropped off, she was 78lbs! Now she is happy and very well loved.

We also have a parti-colored Cocker Spaniel (white with black spots) named Maddie Jane. We looked at her sister, a tri-color, but I knew Maddie was the one for us.

I've always had Cocker Spaniels, and I don't know what I'll do after her.
