There is something to be said about city life.
The good news is the linesmen were here again today and install a new drop. Electrician friend of mine came over and guided me through the install of my mast. Now I just need eversource to come back and hook it up.
Then i found a tree crew on lunch brake and struck a cash deal to pull down two other oaks that were in danger of falling. So that bit of the puzzle is taken care of as well.
It really is amazing to watch a person that is a master at there trade do there work. They had a 50' boom truck and they took the trees down with this hydraulic powered saw on a wand. You would think that a big tree requires a big saw but in fact it is more like whittling just on a larger scale.
It was really cool to watch.
I sub out the tree dropping to professionals. For a couple bills, they will come and drop anything I point to. They can do safely in 1 hour what I could do at great personal risk in a day.
And another 8-12 is coming today with blizzard condition's.
Are we having fun yet?
Ahhhhh No.......
Guess I am all set with the generator being hooked up. Since I am off grid at the moment anyway it is just another day of the first storm. Just with more snow added. Lol.

Around here for a couple of bills, they will stand in the yard and look at you.
I was thinking a coupon thousand.
I got quotes ranging from 2-3 k for the work I got done.
