Somebody rebodied a Prius as a 1950s rat rod pickup.

Wow, someone really isn't handling their quarantine time very well.
Who, me? Nah, if I was going to do that I would have used the body of a Henry J
I like this one better... might be the inspiration for the one above?
I wonder if an Optima Hybrid will be a better base, eventually, since it's 5x114?
I do love my many Prius but I'm not sure I would like on as a truck.
Much to my surprise, the one posted by sleepy is a Gen1 Prius. Much smaller and less robust battery compared to the Gen2 as used in the Joey link.
4x100 wheels in Gen1
5x100 wheels used in Gen2
I'd love to see someone try it with a Model A kit car..... State of the art hybrid mechanicals, with nice old school flavor.
Green flame paint job would just be an added bonus.
In the Joey video, at the very end, they comment that they drove the Prius/Truck from Indiana to Florida. It must be done reasonably well. That's a long way.

Yes, but add a lightning paint job similar to this.
