taken last night at the neighborhood pool
One of the Meyer lemons on my tree split its skin. So I thought I'd have a bit of fun with it. Bad teeth.
Made a lunch run to Rowayton, CT on Monday. Reservations for 11:30 included a boat slip. Oh my, by noon the place was full of well groomed wealthy people having highballs! The waiter came and chatted at the end of the meal, handed me a post card with 3 pone numbers on it, "If you EVER want to sell that, please, please call me".
Pleasant ride and the little 14 footer looked fine among yachts.
BTW, my new favorite boat is a Saxdor 320.
Catalpa tree, as seen on this evening's stroll. Per the internet: "Pioneer doctors used the seed pods and seeds to make a decoction for chronic bronchial affections, spasmodic asthma, labored breathing and heart problems. The juice from either the leaves or roots was used to treat swelling of an eye or cutaneous affections. Green leaves were crushed and placed on swollen lymph glands."
Dropped the trailer off at Sonoma raceway for the open test day tomorrow, and they were running Wednesday night drags. It's very strange to be able to walk across the front straight and stand in turn 11 😀
This photo simultaneously captures both the most dangerous shin-busting risk ever (even disguised to match the grass!) and perfect parking by two trucks.

Whoopsiedoodle.
"What the heck is that weird rattle?"
It ran and drove perfectly. It made no sense. I never would've known something was wrong if it hadn't machined through the front of the converter, blown the seals out of the pump, and started spewing fluid.

No kidding. Those usually make a weird noise.
