Nope, want to paint them two different colors and then either paint a logo or add a decal. Just want to make them look different and make sure nobody "mistakes" them for their cups.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...
Generic rattle can advise, based on my own experience, is that cheap stuff doesn't go on well or stay on long. This is one that price really does correlate with quality.
Oh, and the John Deere Blitz black is supposed to be amazing. No experience myself with the stuff.
A thought.
Heat shrink tubing is available in sizes over 4" and in a variety of colors as well as crystal clear. It would be very durable and the clear could be shrunk over a spray color of your choice.
i would apply sticker/decal you want, then paint, then remove the sticker/decal so it leaves that shape but in stainless

This, just shrink wrap it would be the easy thing. Then maybe stickers.
Another option, If you have access to a blasting cabinet, is to tape off the logo, then blast the rest of it.

They claim you shouldn't wash the cups in the dishwasher, so I'm hesitant to bake to cure. Was figuring I might set them out in the sun for a day or two after the paint dries.

That would definitely help with durability. I'm going to have to find some clear heat shrink that will fit.

That's another very good suggestion!
Call me a young 'un, but if your lip sees the side of the "mug," I don't know how the hole it, putting my mouth on rattle can paint everyday doesn't seem like something I'd want to do.
