Yesterday I picked up an Audi Quattro at WM with a few other cars.
This one I think:
I hope I never have the desire to buy a $5.47 Hotwheels car ever again.

It feels weird, right? But when you look at the cost of other miniatures and collectables it's actually super inexpensive.

And I guess it is cheap wall art.
There's a few pics of how people display their cars, but can I get some more please?
I only have 30ish cars, but they're just laid out on a table in the basement still in their packaging. Something keeps me from opening them. It's not like they will ever be worth much no matter how long I keep them, so I feel I should open them and put them in a wall case or something. Idea's / suggestions?

Most of mine are on a corkboard in their packaging because they would gather loads of dust if they were opened and out on a shelf. The one that are opened live in a shoe box and rotated on my desk.
I've seen some wall mounted cases that are acrylic with individual cubbies and a big cover that goes over everything.

Durp. That's perfect.
So, not many, but this is why I was asking about display, they are just clutter right now. I"ve got a sort of Porsche, Volvo, Land Rover and Mini collection going on.
This is my set up described in the last post. If you're going to keep them packaged, cork board + thumb tacks = easy button.
I have a hard time finding the Majorette stuff after toys-r-us went out of business... our hobby lobby is super slow to restock. So, I bought the set through target... seemed reasonably priced: Link to target page
