Just for the hell of it, I Googled "Hot Wheel Swap Meets" and got a bunch of hits. We need a thread or a provision (separate website, maybe?) for doing so within the Hive.
Just out of curiosity, has anyone here been to a Hot Wheel Swap Meet? Got any feedback or stories to tell?
I actually just asked a question/posted a thread about that - there's already something on here but doesnt seem very utilized
Every other year my brother and I go to the Hot Wheels nationals which has hundreds of rooms of collectors buying and selling. They take over a hotel and just open their bedrooms with their stuff laying on any flat surface. It's surreal and sensory overload.

I go to about three big ones a year,(just in Ohio) there is a local group I found on Facebook, they have a meet once a month. It is more about what's going on in the HotWheels would, and there is some buying and selling going on there too.

Not to mention a STH/Super Treasure Hunt mustang
Ha, I wasn't pointing out the Supra but the supa!
That's the Coupe Clip, it's released in two colors so far but it's just a vaguely C3 Vette shaped keychain. They disappear right away from the pegs.
VW SP2 - I didn't even know these existed. I got it from my in-law's garage sale today... and they're not even car people

Very cool, now Im wondering if I could just modify an actual hot wheels to do the same job. I think it'll just take a drillbit. Or maybe replace the bottom piece with a piece of kydex or something with extra material on the rear for the split ring location.
It has been more miss than hit around here lately.
That Toyota Van is pretty slick looking. Added to the mental look for list.
By the way, if anyone wants anything I post just let me know, I'll send it along. There are very few that I'm strongly attached to.

I've been looking for that one.
I just received a Tomica version, a Celsior actually, and a Century for more regal desk occasions.
In reply to eastsideTim :
the Celsior checks that box for me, thanks for offering. Now, if they made one of the 2nd gen body style...
