I broke up with my girlfriend my senior year in HS and then this new girl asks me to lunch at work - not interested. The next two years I wasn't interested but ran into her a lot at parties and friends houses. Today we are almost married 36 years.
I guess the first meeting she or you may not be interested? Maybe over time? But I agree to be honest and up front.
Get to know this new version of her. If you still like her, spend time with her, be upfront with your intentions. And if she isn't interested, respect it and move on.

that's a long time to be almost married
We tend to see things as we want them to be and can miss seeing how things really are (that rusty pile of car-shaped parts??? It's only a few weekends away from finally cruising through town.... [no, it's not...])
so just chat with her a few times and get to know her. You have an advantage in knowing some things about her already but don't paint the perfect picture before you have the info
My Father had a similar experience and they have been married for over 10 years.
Story - about 10 years after him and my mom divorced, his ex (actually engaged to her before my mom) came back for her dad's funeral and they reconnected and that is all she wrote.
