She ruled so damn hard.
As a kid growing up in the 80's/90's, she was EVERYWHERE. And it felt like she lived 3 lifetimes of careers, and to the absolute fullest. RIP.
Weird. They have been showing the Tina documentary on HBO. Just watched it again a few nights ago. It's a good watch if you haven't seen it.

I was on a road trip with the Mrs a few weeks back and What's Love Got To Do With It came on the Yacht Rock playlist (not really Yacht Rock, but I digress...) and that got me to thinking that Tina is getting up there.
I'd hate to meet the disease that could take her down.

She was everywhere. While her music appears in Miami Vice, how did she not? (Or am I forgetting something?)

I had no idea what she'd been through prior to being a celebrity. absolutely amazing.
"Nutbush City Limits" was my fav of hers...
I did not realize that she wrote Nutbush until recently. I recall Bob Seger covering it on his Live Bullet album.
She was one of a kind!
