Through some contacts at one of the local shelters we got wind of a new ankle biter up for adoption and decided to take the plunge. This is Roxy, she's some mix of something and another thing, about 7 years old, and has obviously had a litter or two. She's quiet and mellow and a little overweight. And striped like Rufio.

So there we are. She'll likely take a week or two to really settle in, but that's ok. We really needed a good reason to go on more walks anyway.

Also, if a mod could correct the thread title. It should say Roxy.

Just give us a few as we need to first update something on the back end.

So apparently she came from a certain community on the AZ state line, is suspected of being used for breeding, and appears to have her bark box removed. The kids like her and she appears to like everyone, including my FIL that our last dog always hated. Wife gave her a bath and bought some treats and fancy food as a welcome present. And we still have toys and beds from Kitty. Should be a good fit.

Welcome home, Roxy.

Our Roxy came from a shelter, and we know nothing about her other than where she was picked up. She’s sleeping here in my office with a giant smile across her face.
