I liked Whiskeytown better than I like his solo stuff, but it's OK. Dude seems like kind of a dick though.

Nickleback sucks huge donkey balls.
When they were nobodys, they claimed they were from Alberta, now that they're famous, they're suddenly from Vancouver?
Apparently they called themselves "the villiage idiots" early in their career.
I'm from B.C. and I'm NOT a Nickleback fan.
I'm pretty sure the guy was a dick, might still be. I think he's talented. Supposedly he's not bad now that he's gone clean.
FYI - He writes a gaming blog on a website called The Awl. It's mostly retro stuff. Like this article. Where he talks about Gorf and the legacy of Danzig.
From RA's blog said: Playing Gorf is like getting wasted, or what I remember about getting wasted: It's loud, it's confusing, there are a bunch of lights going off, people (robots) are shooting at you, you need pizza, etc., then it's game over. Of course you just play the thing again but as my pops once told me "You lose when you drop the quarter in." What an ass. He obviously never heard the whole "Don't hate the player, hate the game" thing, but then he never was much of a gangsta.
Heard a song from Ashes and Fire today on my favorite indie (WNRN) radio station. Sounded good.
Taylor Hawkins is a much better drummer than Neal Pert- and he does it with a lot less stuff to hit.. plus he looks like Animal from the Muppets band when he gets going.. the only better drummer that i know of is Dave Grohl, but he's busy doing all the singing and guitar playing and being the front man and what not while Taylor hits the drums.
the drummer that was in Danzig in the early 90's was pretty amazing, too, but i can't remember his name right off hand even tho i know it's a memorable name.
Rush as ok in their prime, but now they are just a bunch of old men cashing in on the nostalgia of their fan base now that they can afford to go to overpriced concerts instead of listen to prog rock records while they play D&D on the weekends.
