We (the family and I) will be in San Antonio from 6-24 to 2-26 for my son-in-law-to-be's basic training graduation.
Any car-guy "must see"s in the area?

It's been a while since I lived there, but there used to be a cruise night at the Bun and Barrel. While not car related, look up the Tip Top and go there for the best onion rings you'll ever eat.
Tip Top is great.
The best onion rings I've ever eaten, however, came from Clear Springs Cafe, in nearb New Brunfels.
When it comes to food, San Antone has some wonderful places. Don't eat at the River Walk, though, overpriced tourist traps. Hop on Yelp and find some real food.
Your son will also get into Seaworld free with his Mil ID. That's fun.
Good suggestions on these two links:

Note: I didn't post these to be a jerk or to yell "do a search" or anything, just useful stuff and easier to post links.
I briefly considered searching for "San Antonio" and then thought to myself, "Nah, there won't be anything." ...DOH!!!
Thanks for the input thus far, I'll run everything by the family.

Of course, you musn't forget the Alamo. Just be prepared. When I first saw it, I thought. "that's It ?"

All the history books make it look like it is in the middle of nowhere but it's right smack in the middle of the city! Clever photography hides the buildings surrounding it.
