Went to see "Mars Express" last weekend. It's an animated French film along the lines of "Blade Runner" or "Ghost in the Shell". It opened last Friday and depending on where you are I don't expect it to get wide distribution. I doubt it will run more than a week wherever it's showing so if you get the chance, I'd recommend trying to see it immediately if you can.
I'll be very curious as to The Hive's impression.
Looks cool. Bonus is that being dubbed has almost zero effect since it's animated!
In reply to aircooled :
the dubbing is excellent, by the way. I think they changed the animation to reflect spoken English and the script uses the correct idioms of English as well.
My best friend from university is visiting me this week, first time I've seen him in four years. He's a film buff and we both love this kind of thing. His three kids means he doesn't get to go watch movies anymore. We didn't have anything to do tonight while my wife is at the hockey rink.
So now we're going to see Mars Express! Thank you, this is perfect.
Wow. That looks really cool
Bummer, the nearest theater to me is 9 hours away and 4 hours from my daughter who loves Anime.

Looks like I'm going to Valley View Cinemark sometime this week.
It's on at 5 pm at the local multiplex, I don't expect the theatre to be crowded at all......
There were four of us in the theater last night. I enjoyed it. It's very accessible, definitely not a challenging watch. Just a good sci fi animated story.
