On a similar note, the "Downriver Cruise" is this weekend. Riverview to Lincoln Park along Fort Street.

If any GRM people want to hang out/park @ the Advance Auto Parts in Lincoln Park (2230 Fort St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146), feel free to stop by. We usually have a decent turnout. Live music all day and plenty of marginally-grilled hamburgers/hot dogs.

It ended up being a complete wash due to rain.. Friday evening had quite a few people out, as well as earlier this evening.

Next Saturday they're having a "customer appreciation day." Didn't mention earlier, but my dad runs this store. He's going to have the grill fired up, and a mini car show. My friend is bringing his ARCA car, another is bringing his Superbird, I'll have the Notchback and Z06 up there. If anyone wants to come hang out, feel free to drop on by. We'll have part of the parking lot blocked off for cars.

OK, I came back because we are getting near Dream cruise time and I rashly promised to have a BBQ at my place on Saturday 15th during the cruise. My plan is to hit the crusie during the week, Friday night then early Saturday before being back at my place for the BBQ part. I expect people to come and go.

I will have a 5 gallon keg of home brew ready, a couple of full propane bottles and some costco bugers and dog's, chips, salsa the normal stuff, fizzy water and probably a couple of bottles of wine. We don't drink soda so if people want soda's please bring your own. Anything else to pass and share will be welcome.

I don't want to post my address on a public forum so please PM if you plan on coming with your name so I can link scrren names to real names and I'll send my address, directions. Tom and Erich, I know you two are coming so no need to worry.

Doh! I have to work that day (riding in/driving a Ferrari though ), but will probably try and go during the week. I'm also relocating to Rochester, so I'll be a lot closer!

Plenty of parking for Porsche's, Clifford and the like will not really fit. Regular narrow suburban street barely 20' wide, my drive is 20'x60'. No sidewalks so on street parking for cars is fine. There is a park and a school .2 of a mile down the road so if pushed we could overflow there, but the neighbours are cool with each other over parties parking on the street. My lot is about 100' wide so not too bad.

OK guys, down to the wire. For the first time in 15 years I haven't been up at the cruise every night this week, in fact I haven't been at all. While I may not be in Quasi's position, I have been stupid busy.

So, see all of you who are coming around 3:00ish onwards at my place. The beer is arriving around 2:00pm so no point in being too early :) I hit up Costco last night for supplies and if you're are lucky and the rain holds off I may even cut the grass before you arrive. Those coming you have the address so I should be easy to find. My cars are the Volvo C30 and Explorer Sport (The Saab will be hiding in the garage of shame) but there will be other cars around. When you arrive just come through the side gate (To the right of the garage) and holler a welcome.

I'll be hitting the cruise around 8:30 am with Tom and some others for a couple of hours before heading home to set up.

Tell her all hell will break loose if we run out, nothing in this world is worse than running out of beer at a car related event during the afternoon, we start blowing E36 M3 up about then.
