Don't tell them but my 13 and 11y.o. sons are getting a wheel and pedals for their Xbox. I'm also putting together a barebones 2x4 base to mount this hardware.
What stock seat could I find in a pick n pull yard that would appear "race car" to these boys? If I find a $20 race seat I'll buy it, but what cars came stock with radical seats?

They're not very common in junkyards, but the Saturn Ion Redline had Recaro seats that look the part.
Nissan 300zx, old GTI seats, E30 sport seats, Celica GTS (2003ish?), 944 seats, SAAB Aero seats (especially if you found a 9000 aero), MX3 seats, C4 Corvette...
Where are you? If anywhere near PA I will give you an old Corbeau.
BB6 Prelude seats aren't overtly "RACECAR" but they're pretty sporty looking and very comfy.
