I realize that this is a futile attempt to get the word out, but my white '89 Saab 900 Turbo hatchback was stolen in the Greenwood neighborhood last night. If you are a Seattleite and happen to see a white classic 900 hatch with no front license plate, 9000 V6 rims (thin spokes, see avatar), and a mismatched left rear steel rim, please call 911, then call me at 206 930 zero three seven nine.
Thank you!!

Doesn't sound like a chop job candidate. You may have some luck. I'll assume the authorities have been contacted. I won't go through the reasons cars like this are stolen. Unfortunately, the cars that aren't candidates for chop jobs can sometimes be something we hold closely to our heart.
Good luck.
Report filed. Cop thinks it will turn up. I'm rubbing the hell out of my rabbit's foot.
The ignition between the seats is super-easy to defeat, unfortunately. Dumbass (that would be me) never put a kill switch in the car.
That sucks Good luck on getting it back.
It'll turn up, likely without a battery and hopefully minimal damage. Around here, the teenagers joy-ride dodge caravans due to their ease of... Access?

Ba-dum tsk?
Hope it turns up, but I'm no help here in the Middle West.
Oh no! And this after a successful dyno run just a week before...I'd be looking really closely at my buddies in the SAAB club right now- power envy and all that can be a pretty potent motivator.
I remember hearing about lots of 900 classics getting stolen and shipped overseas a few years back for some reason. Remember that?
Sorry to hear that Hans- I'll keep an eye out for it!

Any word on this? Please keep us updated.
if I was on that end of the country.. I would be on the lookout.. but I am 3,000 some odd miles away.. I can only wish you luck
If you have a little time on your hands and really want your car back, cruise the local high school parking lots. The vast majority of our local stolens get jacked by juveniles and most of the time we either find them steaming with a tree in the middle of the hood (hopefully not for you) or at one of the local high school lots. Good luck!
