Down state is crazy...

I'm waiting for similar logical reasons why no laws are needed.. Frankly I agree that there are an awful lot of laws and rules. Some seem silly on the surface but serve a valid purpose while others are just silly.. Now you introduced my house and job status.. That I see no connection to this debate. Perhaps you could explain where the connection is? As for Toy cars. I contribute a lot where I have a good knowledge (Jaguars and MG's) Maybe those are the posts you skipped over?
Logic? You think inflation is a good thing. Logic isn't exactly your strong suit.

I have no idea. I didn't even intend to start a debate or anything.

(Which I call B.S. on, since they don't work the same for yeast.) I might have to look for the pure sugar Pepsi when I get back. Here in Germany, I like Fritz Cola. Made by a company started by a couple guys in Hamburg. Tastes way better than Coke/Pepsi, and is made with cane sugar. A bit more expensive since a .33l (~12oz) from the cafe on campus costs me as much as a .5l (~20oz.) bottle of Coke from the vending machine. But that's great since I don't really want to drink any more than that. Back home in the states, it's all about Virgil's Rootbeer or Boylan Pure Cane Cola.Salanis wrote: How the hell do people drink that much soda, anyway? I mostly stopped drinking the stuff years ago. Now, it just makes me feel gross to drink too much of it. Bought a half-liter bottle of coke this afternoon (because of the metric system) to get a kick of caffeine to get through a long exam. I only drank half of it. I can't imagine drinking 64ounces of the stuff.I stop a while ago too. Then Pepsi started selling the pure sugar no HFCS and now I drink 3 12oz a week. I feel much better after one than I ever did after the old stuff.
While it is all just calories there is a difference in how the body metabolizes these chemicals. HFCS is actually really bad for you in relation to good old fashion sugar. HFCS will actually make you hungry and causes high uric acid. High uric acid brings about all kinds of ills besides just gout.

Are you saying the corn industry is lying about how good "corn sugar" is for you?

This exact quote from your post is why most of us are starting to simply ignore everything you post. This is the DEFINITION of someone that's trolling. Please, for the sake of our sanity and the sanity of those whom own and operate this forum, stop this behavior.

I consume sodas very very little. Maybe 2 per week. When I do drink soda, I much prefer something with real cane sugar.
In general, I reserve my daily allotment of empty calories for beer. Mmm... beer.
Trolling has to do with what deep sea fishermen do. Drop several lines in the water and see what you catch. Which is EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO.

Well they do couch their words with " in moderation " and its true that HFCS isn't bad for you in moderation but that E36 M3 is in damn near everything.
T.J. wrote: Hookers and blow may be good for you in moderation, but I tend to avoid both of them.
Well according to some, if it were legal, you wouldn't be able to stop yourself from blowing your cash on both.

I don't see how any of this is true. Rather ludacris, actually. I hope it was sarcastic.

Ha ha, nice try. But I belong to forums with MUCH better trolls than you. So stop trying to troll me.

Almost as removed as asking if a drug dealer was allowed to sling coke at an elementary school, one would say....

No, DON'T lock this thread. There's been plenty of that and the solution is not more.
People are disagreeing here and even making it personal, but nobody is out of bounds yet. It's not an eyesore that reflects badly on the magazine or its community. Let it go and just don't come here if it is not to your taste.
