I found a 2000 Prelude, possible Type SH, with supposedly clean title. The seller bought a new truck and needs it gone. He was asking $3500, but when I talked cash, he said he would do $2500 to get rid of it. The car already had a greedy exhaust and body kit when he got it. He even offered to lower the price even more by taking off the exhaust and body kit since I'm not into that stuff. Its had alot of work done and the tranny was rebuilt (no reverse) by a guy people at my work know and also my father-in-law, who says he's good. My only concern is another owner ragged on it. It also need's a rear bumper cover. Here is the ad:

Do you guys see any reason not to buy and anything I should ask the dude that I may have forgot?

Only thing I can think of is the "mods" tell me that car's probably been beaten within an inch of its life. Off the top of my head i'd want to know if it'd ever been sprayed, since that's REAL easy to reverse if it's just a dry shot into the intake tract.

i'd do at least a compression test on it along with the basic check of the fluids look/smell

and looking for a hole in the intake tract for the spray as mentioned would be something else to check...

Rust, no rear bumper, mastercraft tires? What a bargain!
