Age 82, pneumonia got him.

" "I’m so sad to hear that Michael Gambon has died," the Clarkson's Farm host wrote. "He was hugely amusing, and such a tremendous guest, we even named a corner after him." "
Thanks Nick. As much as I dislike Tom Cruise, I will say he did the same thing, same corner but bicycled it from corner to finish line damn near rolling it.
In reply to 914Driver :
It's mind blowing that Cruise is only 2 years younger than Clarkson. Looks more like 20.
Getting off-topic, but Tom Cruise actually did some road racing with the SCCA, pre-Days Of Thunder, in one of Paul Newman's GT-3 300ZXs. He had some talent but was known to be overly aggressive and didn't know how to save a car for endurance racing. A joke started that SCCA stood for "See Cruise Crash Again"

Gambon was the first guest to pop the Reasonably Priced Car up on two wheels, and damn near rolled the thing, as so many others have done.
I mostly know him from Tim Burton's live action Sleepy Hollow, which I usually watch this time of year. He played Baltus Van Tassel.
Thinking about it, that movie had a stacked cast: Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Christopher Walken, Ray Park, Michael Gambon, Ian Mcdermid, Christopher Lee
I thought he was well over 90.
I always liked his interview on Top Gear where he says he has no clue of the plot to any of his movies.
