Henry's grape is good too.
If you drink, whatever you drink, don't forget to drink a lot of water too, like 1 glass per drink.

Former stoner here. Any legal issues aside (in some states they'll consider a tray of special brownies a tray of straight hash, pound for pound) be very careful with that, easy to accidentally go to 11 for several hours if you get impatient (takes a while to kick in), or eat too much to start. Pretty harmless if that happens but you need to know to roll with it and go glue yourself to a couch, fight it and you'll freak out like many inexperienced people do with edibles.

According to the news monsters, cbd will cure anything from Parkinson's to male pattern baldness and everything in between. Truthfully, I have seen several videos of Parkinson's patients using it to positive effect.
The only time I tried a Smirnoff Ice, can't remember the flavor, but my reaction was that it would taste better to put a shot of vodka in a Sprite. They appeared to be going for something similar.
I'd echo that cider is probably the least acquired taste in alcoholic beverages.
I like to drink beer and i can say without a doubt, whether i have 2 or 12, it makes me not sleep worth a hoot. I drank quite a few yesterday, but it was stretched out through the entire day so i was never sloppy. Last night i woke up probably ten times, with my mind racing every time i woke up.
Every time i drink anymore i think "I might as well just quit".
I don't mind Mike's Hard Lemonade, although I prefer some of the other flavors to the original. My problem with them is the same problem I have with mixed drinks (and soda, for that matter) - I can't drink them slowly. A bottle goes down easily and quickly. An entire 6-pack not much longer. Dangerous.
Along the same vein, Not Your Father's Root Beer is similar. It basically just tastes like root beer.
I agree about Concord grape wine. There's a winery at the northern end of Seneca Lake in NY called Montezuma that sells a wine called "Fat Frog". It's essentially alcoholic grape juice. As with the above, that can be good and bad.
There are a number of spiced wines that have very little alcohol flavor to them.
And I agree alcohol can screw up my sleep. Especially as I've gotten older.
There are some alcoholic ginger beers that are worth trying as well.
Stay away from the smirnoff, the mikes hard, etc. Anything malted pretty much. Nasty stuff.
as far as wines, depending on what your sweetness tolerance is. Try a Moscato (really sweet), a Sweet Riesling (a bit less), or a regular Riesling (dryer and not that sweet). Those are good starter whites.
I was just thinking with a chuckle, that we herein have found yet another subject with which the GRM hive has a very great depth and breadth of knowledge.
Lotta good suggestions here.
Smirnoff doesn't taste very alcoolic, but do not drink too much of it. It gives a nasty hangover.
Baileys in a good coffee is great.
Mojito's can be good too.
If you want to try wine, start with GOOD bottles and make sure to try with a good meal.
A few quick comments from my point of view, reinforcing some above comments.
Any bottled "flavored" alcohol beverage I have ever had the misfortune to try has been absolutely horrible. Mike's, Smirnoff, all of them. Horrible. Though I have not tried them all...
A well designed cocktail mixed my a skilled bartender can be absolutely delicious and not really taste of alcohol, yet be potent. A great bartender can also make a recommendation if you talk about what you do and do not like.
There is wide spectrum of flavors in the beer world. Have you really given them all a taste? It is entirely possible to HATE that canned corn vomit some people call beer, yet love real craft beer of another style.
If you need alcohol to have a good time, you probably aren't doing things you enjoy. that's a slippery slope to start down.
This thread is making me glad that I drink very little. Although I had a mikes watermelon the other night, instant headache.
I'm to the point now that one of two things happen. I have half a beer and pass out for ten hours, or, I drink all the beers and pass out for 24 hours. There is no in between.
