Most bands I run into in Indiana want at least a grand to set up for 2 hrs......maybe there's too much competition there.....or selling yourselves short

I gave my parents two days notice and still managed to have about ten people there
We did the courthouse thing too, total cost (including "rings"/tattoos) came out to $105.00

Did a wedding on Halloween. Courthouse Ceremony. 4 witnesses. Reception- in costume- 250+ guests. Had it on the parents farm (cost 0$$$) made our own food (Cost...300$) Called in some friends with DJ stuff (Cost...0$$$) and everyone came in costume. All in all, in and out including the dress the tux and the rings for under a grand.

our first wedding ran us a total of 15 grand including clothing. we are renewing our vows next year and so far we are looking at i think 12k.
