It sounds like this is going to be awesome... for 7 months until the sales team determines it would be more profitable to have the second channel cover the rest of the nascar points race that the first channel was unable to cover.

Available only to SPEED subscribers as an authenticated online network
If this works like ESPN360, you will only be able to access SPEED2 if you get your Cable TV and Internet from the same provider, i.e. Comcast, Time Warner, etc... I get ESPN (and SPEED) via Dish and I can't access ESPN360. I won't be surprised if I can't get SPEED2 either.
I thought ESPN360 was carried by the internet providers. I was able to get it with AT&T DSL only. I didn't have any type of TV service.

After some more research, you are right. I had assumed it was linked to your TV provider, but alas it is worse - your ISP has to PAY for you to have access.

The ISP landscape will start to look a lot like Cable TV if Network Neutrality not enforced - i.e. "oh you want to access the Speed2.com website on your computer, that's in the 'super extra special tier" for an extra $19.99 a month"
