Nice. As an ex-Atlantan, I gave them a Facebook like. The 'buy local' movement is something I can definitely get behind.
Thanks for bumping my thread, too.
Happy to help
We had a very disturbing conversation at work the other day. There are libraries being built with no books! Just iPads. Scary.
I like a book, not just the content but the feel, the smell, the whole thing.
I've read books on tablets before (Actually one of the best books, Tina Fey's 'Bossypants'), and I occasionally listen to audio books ('Ready Player One' narrated by Will Wheaton is phenomenal), but there is no substitute for having the real thing. I'm in the middle of an old yellowed copy of 1984 right now, and it adds so much to the experience that I wouldn't have it any other way.
We've got a ton of new books added, especially some good fiction.
We just got back from seeing The Book Thief last night. What a phenomenal movie... We're adding that book to our perpetual inventory (read it about 4 years ago, and forgot how good it was.)
( Everything is 10% off today. Check our fb page for more info. )

Crazy.
There's a very good movie on Netflix instant called robot and frank in which this happens.
Books are apparently under fire on a number of fronts...http://articles.washingtonpost.com/2013-09-09/local/41897213_1_library-board-meeting-library-director-librarians
