Yep my 86 was the autoslalom display car. The Micra and kart were the main attention-grabbers though:
Super weird that the wheels appear gloss black in that photo. Here's proof that I cleaned them:
I spotted your two over there (Edit: Just too bad I didn't realize they were yours!)

My Star Wars group is going to be at their 100th anniversary for WACO planes, 80 acres of planes to see plus the museum. I'll be there in costume Saturday from 10-?. Troy OH.
Thursday night we saw "Here Come The Mummies".
Friday night we saw Rhiannon Giddens (at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville)
Both absolutely phenomenal shows. If you haven't heard of these performers yet, check them both out. HCTM is fun, upbeat, silly, and a great live act. RG is probably the best singer alive today, simply next level voice.
Im driving a right-hand drive car around Scotland. Saw Loch Ness today. No sign of Nessie though.
Hello migraine my old friend
Was supposed to be wiring for my trailer so I can drag Colin parts up to Cleveland. Now the goals have been redefined to "can it all fit in the RX-7"

And multiple Grammy awards, a Pulitzer, and a MacArthur fellowship, just to name a very few of her accolades.

Although we've sort of had a "birthday week" for Annie with other people, today is her actual birthday. So we went to Anya's in Thompson, CT. Just the two of us. Nice place, and interesting building structure, as can be seen in the pic. Anyway, worth the 55 minute drive from home (and only a couple miles from Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park).
We had food too. But wine-lover that I am, this was the only pic I took.
Tomorrow, Larz Anderson in Brookline, MA, for Tutto Italiano. Best show of the season there. Usually held in early August, but postponed 'til now because of road-work last month. I'll post pics of that event tomorrow evening.
This morning Little Monohue and I took a scooter ride around one of our many local parks followed by a half hour so in the playground with half a dozen other preschoolers. It was his first time on the scooter, and he was comfortable right away, which is not a given with this kid. After that, a stop at the thrift store for Hot Wheels and then a Happy Meal, then he ran the Jake and the turn signals for me while I played American Truck Simulator and his mom got out to do some grocery shopping without him for a change. We're heading out for some good local ice cream in a few minutes to celebrate good behavior and exceptional scootersmanship.
Tomorrow it'll be mowing and de-thatching. Might even get ambitious and change the oil in the 5 if the stars align.
We had a Hurricane come through. Totally anti climatic. Mowed the lawn at the hight of it. The breez was a nice change from the humidity we have had most of the summer.
Yesterday I went to a hog roast. Today I am nursing a hangover. Those two things are related.

Short answer: Yes
Driveshaft, rear diff, diff brace, exhaust, and stretch goal of transmission.
Worked Saturday, autocross today. Tomorrow I'm going to the dermatologist to get a lesion on my nose checked, anxious about it this time.

Those had VE tables? I thought they were strictly MAF transfer.

After the hurricane cleared out yesterday, we had a beautiful late summer day today. And after Tutto Italiano at Larz Anderson this afternoon, we came home, had dinner, and lit the firepit ... and had some wine.
Life is good.
A good friend of ours came down on Saturday. Went to Packard's for a late brunch on the rooftop (it's called Packard's because, you guessed it, was originally built as a Packard dealership), went cruising around some of the old money neighborhoods with beautiful homes. Stopped by the huge Asian market and found some Sriracha! I wanted to buy a case, but I figured that would be uncouth.
Then we went to "Flashback Pub," it's a "barcade" stocked with old 80s/90s arcade games and skeeball. $5 cover or 2 drink minimum, all games are free and unlimited. Then back to the house, ordered pizza for dinner to watch OK State get throttled, we turned off the game in the 3rd quarter.
Sunday was a nice lazy day.
Saturday was spent cleaning up my parent's yard and mowing it. 2 trailer loads of moss and branches left over from when Idalia passed through. My parents have spent most of the summer in the mountains so the yard hadn't been mowed since mid-July. That meant spending 5 hours letting a 60" Kubota diesel munch through tall grass. The rest of the grass I'll take the bush hog to at some point.
Sunday I swapped a set of tires for a friend.
I also made a start on the hydraulic mower for the excavator.

That rocks.
I'll see myself out.

My hometown! (My 17th generations back relatives landed there)
Once upon a time they allowed tourists to chip off a piece of the rock to take home as souvenirs. Times have changed.
Wrapped the weekend with an autocross. Not a bad showing for the Zoomboni out of 124 drivers.
