Vettel has crashed stupidly several times, he also laid streams of engine parts a few times. Webber has also suffered from brainfade spectacularly this year. Alonso is working off the scraps of Ferraris engine allotment......
Who's gonna lose spectacularly?
Red Bull is in a squeeze, with both drivers anxious to stab the other in the back. The championship is Alonzo's to lose.

Agreeed, but that wasn't the question.
Hah! I pick Hamilton to push beyond the limit and lose spectacularly, but that's not to say I wouldn't love to see Vet and Web take each other out again.
I'd love to see Vettel take out Alonso is a truly memorable
spectacular fashion--that they both walk away from--and Webber get the championship he's chased for so long.
Hammy! One of two things will happen according to my slightly wishful crystal ball.
Scenario 1.
The Red bulls qualify 1 and 2 with the McLarens 3 and 4. Alonso will blow up a couple of engines and not make it out of Q1 so be at the arse end of the grid. The Red Bulls will then take each other out Prost Senna style on the first corner, Fred will make up positions but finish just outside the points and Hammy will go home victorious.
Scenario 2.
The front row is Fred and the convict with Vettle and Hammy behind. The front tow take each other out on the first corner, Hammy blows by Vettle into the lead. Seb then get's flustered and fluffs it, going off but recovering to finish 4th and Hammy still gets it.
If for some strange reason my crystal ball is wrong, unfortunate I see it going to Alonso. While I dislike the Convict, I despise Alonso more. The only thing worse than Alonso getting it would be Alonso in a Ferrari getting it….hang on a mo…Oh snap. The problem is It looks fairly safe for Fred, he's 8 points up so if the Convict wins and he's second he's got it. If the Convict is second he has to finish 5th or better, 3rd and he has to be 6th or better etc. Based on recent races that's entirely possible, especially if RBR keep to their no team orders and let Vettle stays ahead.
If Fred Falters then it's almost certainly the Convict, as he's 7points up on Vettle so it's a similar story to above, although I do see a high possibility of the two RBR cars taking each other out if it comes down to a straight fight between the two of them for position.
Hammy in reality has little chance as he's 24 points behind Fred. With 25 for a win he has to win, Alonso can't finish in the points AND the Convict needs to be 6th or lower AND Vettle has to be 4th or lower, those are long odd's

I can see Fred and the convict taking each other out, or the convict and Vettle taking each other out, but I don't see Fred and Vettel taking each other out. Their not close enough to each other to make it worth the risk.

Hamilton has already lost.......
Red Bull has to finish 1-2. If that happens, the driver who wins the last race also wins the WDC
Alonso wins if he's first or second - or if RBR eliminates itself.
Bet for the most "spectacular" loser - it's a tie between Vettel and Webber.
All Alonso has to do is finish ahead of Webber.
If Vettel wins, Alonso only has to finish 7th or higher to beat him. If Webber wins, Alonso has to be second to retain the championship by one point.
Red Bull has done everything in their power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They will continue their Clusterberkeley, and come away with only the constructors championship.
I am a Fernando fan, and I think he was robbed of several potential championships at McLaren. Ferrari has gotten behind him, and even with a slower car, he has gotten this far. I hope they carry the success into 2011 with even better results.
(if only they had Brawn back, Brawn Alonso would be a hell of a team)
I just wanna see Mark do it, I have followed his career since he was in Formula Ford and sponsored by Yellow Pages, he is a genuinely nice guy and he has done it the hard way, no purchased rides for this convict.
That said, he seems to choke when the pressure is on and make completely unforced errors just when everything looks good for him.
sigh

I'd like to see Webber win, also. He's better than most give him credit for and (at his relative "old age") this is likely his last best-chance.
Vettel is still VERY young and makes unforced errors, but is maturing quickly and will be a major threat for many years.
Alonso is the likely WDC for 2010. I'm OK with that - even though I'm NOT a Ferrari fan and I think Fred escaped punishment for (his likely) involvement in crash-gate.
Let's see- who will lose?
Button, Masa, Kubica, Petrov, Barichello, Hulkenberg, etc.
And THREE of the following- Hamilton, Weber, vettel, and Alonso.
Who will win, OTOH, while not a ferrari or Alonso fan, I think he will win.
The only way Hamilton wins is if the rest expire for what ever reason, and he wins.
If it comes to a test of raw nerve:
- Fred won't flinch or make a mistake. He will blow an engine if its dry.
- Hammy and Vettel will choke like a pair of Massas if pressed hard. Impatience will take Hammy out first.
- Webber won't choke but he will crash out if anyone tries to overtake him.
I think it depends on qualifying order and the weather for who will be given the best opportunity to fail dramatically.

I agree - but see Vettel winning the race, Weber second, and Alonso third to take the World Championship. There will then be much wining as Alonso will have won it due to illegal team orders. It will be intertesting to see if, with this situation playing out at the end of the race, if Vettel moves over to let Weber by without team orders. Would he put a race victory for himself ahead of the drivers title for his teammate??
Being that it is Abu Dhabi...I don't see weather being a huge factor...
I have been betting on Webber, but as of recently i gotta say its Alonso's to lose...
Gonna go watch it with the Atlanta F1 Watch Party!

He had said he would before Interlagos, but has changed his tune since the win.
I still think Vettel should have "slipped up" and let Webber past. I'm a huge Webber/Vettel/RBR fan, but me thinks there will be a bit of egg on Horner's face if they miss the WDC due to taking "the high road" on team orders.
Team orders have/are/will always be a part of Formula 1, if you don't like it watch NASCRAP........oh right......

And yet, there is great honour in finishing 2-3 while not employing team orders.
The points difference (for the possible WDC winner) could very well be the gap provided by Ferrari's team orders as used in Germany. The team was guilty, fined a paltry $100K and was allowed to keep their points.
I don't have any issues with team orders; they are (and have been) part of the game forever. But, I do have issue with the FIA's inability to consistently enforce a rule that shouldn't exist. The poobah's have stunk-up the joint by letting themselves get labeled as the FIA - as in Ferrari International Assitance organization.
not in any way an Alonso fan... but am a Ferrari fan... makes for a conundrum.... oh well I'll just go a-x and see if I can sew up the season championship Sun

Of all people who would say this, I did not suspect you.

You are going to be there? My girlfriend and I are going. We usually go to a few a year, and being the finale, I am definitely going. She will be there in a McLaren hat...I may have to make a shirt to commemorate the event.
Morals ARE for hippies. Red Bull should have made Vet stand aside for Web in Brazil. Then it would force the issue going into Abu Dhabi. Fernando would have HAD to finish ahead of Webber in order to win the title.
