Details on your MTB? Oh, and I have ~80% of a sweet vintage Powerlite, if you're interested.

In reply to Pete Gossett:
Cheap generic half-suspension 18 speed I've had forever. Shimano cranks, thumb shifters, V-brakes, flat handlebars, etc. It's been fun and cheap, but I can't take it back east for college, and I really want to get into BMX. My buddy did a "Walmart build" with a new headset, pegs, tires, and sprocket and it works really well for under $200 in total investment.
Bringing this one back from the dead. I picked up a Framed Twenty9er as an early birthday present last week, and have really enjoyed bombing around the neighborhood with the kids. No wheelies yet, though. I'm a little rusty.

I've had one of these for about a year. I dont ride it that often, maybe 2-3 times per month. But I still love it! The bigger size makes riding more comfortable as I get older than I once was.
Apparently, the new forum cannot embed vimeo. I'll leave the post in case anyone wants to look in to it.
I got an eastern growler 26" earlier this year. Figured for an entry level rider maybe I better just buy into an entry level bike for now. For the first couple months I was out riding several times a week.
Been kinda busy (and also making excuses), I really need to get back to it, the weather is getting to be perfect for riding now! Need to get that stamina back up so the hilly 7 mile ride to work, and 7 miles back is tolerable.
Considering a sturmey archer kick shift hub upgrade over the winter to have some lower gearing for hills and when pulling the kid in the trailer.
Theres a BMX track about 30 mins from home, been thinking about showing up at one of their practice nights to see what thats all about.

I talked to Fred Blood on the phone last week, we all moved on to be something other that BMX riders...

Crossover for me; he sells Hot Wheels, actually is a factory dealer.
I've got an old Torker frame in storage I should put together as a pit bike. I wonder how it would mount in a bike rack...

I have a twin top tube haro that would have that issue...
I picked up a new 26" SE Filth Flyer for $400 on close out a few years ago. I literally can pedal wheelie this thing over 1/4 mile. It is ridiculously easy.
I also have a 24" Fit bike BMX bike and I cannot manual either for more then 10 fee at a time. I cannot find a balance point or I am not quick enough with moving my fat body to keep it going.
