In this case, our northern neighbors. I found these at a truckstop somewhere along the QEW in Ontario today. I bought them for my wife since she comes from Canadian roots and puts ketchup on everything.

I bought catsup potato chips once as I traveled through Pittsburgh (home of Hienz).

They were awful.

Ketchup Doritos? Interesting. Going to have to find me some of them. I've always liked the Old Dutch Ketchup chips, but honestly prefer a corn chip. That Doritos might be epic win right there.

And seriously, you guys don't have these? Pity.

I tried those and some poutine chips in Canada last year. Awful!

Catsup? Like the generic red stuff that they sell next to the Heinz ketchup at the grocery store?

I tried these. Not bad, but, give me the gyros flavored Lays over them anyday.

The fish and shrimp flavored ones you can get in Asia are surprisingly good.

I'm not Canadian, I don't like chips, but I do put ketchup on almost everything.

There is a spice gradient in North America. You go south, things are hot, you go north, things are mild. I tell my Texas friends that I grew up in the Midwest where ketchup is an exotic spice. They have a big hearty belly laugh. I say, "no, really....."

I planned a two week summer vacation one January day by starting with a potato chip factory tour shown on the back of a bag of chips. I also toured Hershey's, Vermont Teddy Bears, and Ben and Jerry's factory.

We did the Cape Cod chip tour last summer. Kind of interesting but ultimately disappointing.

My buddy who grew up in Iowa in the 70's proudly claims " We used both spices! Salt AND pepper "
