They may launch SN9 in the next 10-15 minutes, they've gotten close a few times over the last week or so. SN10 is also on the pad next door so there is a chance both rockets end up in many pieces today.
Pretty low chance, there would have to be a launch explosion bad enough to take out a steel tank a fair way away. It's easy to forget how big these things are and how the long lenses make them look close to each other.
The landing spot is far enough away that it's unlikely to damage SN10 if there's a RUD. Remember that SN9 is the one they kinda dinged up a few weeks ago.
Looks to me like only one of the two engines lit for the flip. They are really pushing the envelope with that move.
Okay, SN10, you're up. Nervous?

Posted to Twitter on the weekend, this is what the future was supposed to look like. Kids playing in the sunshine in front of shiny rockets parked on the beach.
We are going to be on vacation in Cocoa Beach during a launch in the middle of the night. We will be there.

I'd watch that movie.
Supposed to be another Falcon launch tonight at about 8:30 EST. Not sure on the "how to watch" specifics, I'll let Kazoospec Jr. figure that out. Apparently, the 8th flight for this particular booster, which is pretty cool in and of itself.
In case you are wondering, apparently Discovery had the most shuttle flights with 39 according to Space.com
I always catch it on the nasaspaceflight Youtube channel. There's extra commentary, but these guys are knowledgeable and set up all kinds of remote cameras all over the property in Boca Chica. SpaceX also has a channel where they broadcast as well.
I like the SpaceX streams.
There's a good chance we'll see a third shot at landing a Starship this week with a new engine relight strategy. SpaceX has also proven they can swap out a rocket engine faster than I can do a Miata mill.
Possible SN10 launch today and maybe even a landing! Independent streams are up, SpaceX stream will go live very shortly before liftoff if it does not get scrubbed.
Thanks for the warning and link. Please do post these up when you see them again.
I am going to try and leave the feed up so I can see it live.
Is there an official SpaceX feed for these? The one above is clearly a private observer setup. I think it is fine, but an official feed might be nice for some aspects also, or do they not do the Starship tests live (for obvious reasons)?
The official SpaceX feed for Starship launches only goes live at T-3:00. They don't do an all-day stream. But it's great quality footage without excited commentators screaming so it's my go-to :)
There are cars on the pad right now, something is being checked out so the clock has been rolled back a bit.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
NASASpaceflight is reporting a stuck vent valve on the bed. They are attempting to fix it and still launch today.
Things are looking good again, pad has been cleared and the Rocket is starting to vent from the bottom which means we are close.
Maybe by 3 pm EST we see liftoff?
You'll need to log in to post.
