Ok, so this not an econoline but it is his european cousin. Meet the transit.
I've never seen such a thing raced on a track before so I thought it was worthy of sharing. And think of how many old retired commercial vans can be had for cheap?

They have Nascar, Nastruck, and now, after the unending search for more advertisement space, Nasvan! Comming up next, Nasbus...
Wait wait, right turns?! that's heresy for Nasbus! Props to the nas-bendy-bus. Extra extra ad space.

Where's that ford transit van that had the drivetrain of a super car in it for test purposes? Koenigsegg? XJ220?
There was one that was an XJ220 underneath. I also seem to remember one with a GT40 drivetrain.

The XJ 220 Transit. Sweetness.
Ford built a couple "Supervans" as promotional vehicles (google them). IIRC the one with the XJ220 drivetrain was a Jaguar development mule.
