I'm riding my sixth MS150 this year. I ride for my wife, who was diagnosed in 2009. Over the years, I've managed to raise quite a bit of money for this cause and many GRM'ers have thrown in--thus this post.
BTW--Mazdax605 (Chris) is such a sweetheart, he tracked me down to donate before I even sent out my donation solicitation email! That's the kind of people on this board. Who's cutting onions near me?!
Anyway, here's the link:

I know everyone's sick of getting solicited by charities. Thanks for even considering donating.
Gamby,
I just want to say thanks for doing what you do (diagnosed in 2007).

Aww shucks. Let's remember that AngryCorvair is the other MS warrior here.
How are you managing with it? I know it's rougher on guys than it is on gals.
Gamby is too classy to bump his own thread, but I'm not. Free bump Chris....
How'd it go? I sponsored a friend's son. I heard Saturday was canceled due to weather.
I don't think the ride is until June.
The Texas MS 150 was shortened to one day due to bad weather. There are multiple MS biking events that are run all over the place. It's a great series for a good cause.

This one will be in RI on Father's Day weekend, June 20-21 (I think it's 20-21).
Fingers will be crossed for good weather. Last year was ideal--70-75 degrees.

In reply to bravenrace:
My wife's biggest issue is fatigue. Her neurologist is an MS specialist and is VERY progressive. She's on a narcolepsy drug (Nuvigil--off-label use), where a half a pill can get her through the day pretty well. It's a powerful upper.
Circulation issues have been more frequent this year and some weakness/disorientation will pop up once in awhile. She's been fortunate to have no major attacks of any sort in a long time. I hope that continues. I also hope the drugs continue to improve.

I'm trying to work my support through my company giving site so that it gets matched, but need a tax ID, any idea on where to find that?

Well like your wife, I'm managing because I have no other choice. Most days I'm thankful I'm not worse, but sometimes I have to ask why me? In the end it is what it is...
Eh, it's all in how you look at it.

Aww--you rock, Chris! That's fantastic! Is it the tax ID from MS Society you need, because I can have that to you in minutes. As I'm typing this, I'm realizing I could just ext you this question LOL.
Help our fellow grm member gamby keep his number 1 jersey.

Oh my goodness!!!
I checked back in here for the first time in a LONG time (like around a year) last night and now I see this!!!
What a great bunch of people. Holy crap.
You've capped off an already really good day.
No problem Chris, keep up the good work. Hopefully the weather is good for you. Low humidity and clear skies would be great.

At this rate, could be 50 degrees, could be 90.
How'd it go Chris? Weather was hot this weekend in SE MA, and probably RI as well.
