I RV'ed for a few weeks in a big luxo-RV with one of the combo, all-in-one units. It took HOURS. I mean, like 3+ HOURS, and it seemed to not clean very well. So frustrating.

We bought an attached stacked unit off Craig's list a few years back. Love it and it works great. Little small for blankets and tends to build up lint in the exhaust pipe pretty quick. Id buy another.

fixed it for you
You got that right. He has tools for everything (except woodworking I guess) and since he does A/C work, too, he even had a bunch of R12 for my old van! The supply is diminishing, though...

Update: We ended up buying a full size stackable Whirlpool off Craigslist for $250. I then made the mistake of taking the back cover off to see what was going on in there and then spent the following 5 hours taking the entire unit apart cleaning. Best tool for the job: leaf blower. Worst idea of the day: Using the leaf blower to clean while it's inside the house. The good part is the whole thing is all back together and I only have 1 extra screw. Bad part is it has a 4 prong plug and the outlet I'm working with is a 3 prong. So I need to look into that (cough cough, help me GRM!)

Yep, the dryer I bought had the same issue. Picked up a 3-prong at walmart and swapped it out in about 5 minutes.
