Interesting-it was here earlier. Maybe the Russians?
You couldn't pay me to put one of these signs in my yard from either candidate. The level of crazy and riled up attitude from this election would make me fear for my family.
People have gone full on nuts this year. Nuts.

So they are messing with our election, man the pitchforks !

I agree. At least, for the two major candidates.
Rats, I never used to have issues with Picasso Web, but since our Google overlords have forced us to Google pictures. I seem to be having image posting issues.
It was a home made sign my neighbor made for me on a tarp. I left it up for a couple of days. Coming down tonight.
I'll try and repost when not on my phone.
Not that it makes any difference but the sign belongs to the political party, not the property owner.
So, here's another go at posting from Google Photo's.
Not, this was a joke after my sign was stolen, you don't like my official sign, have an ugly home made one instead. I only left it up for 48 hours.
Doers this work for people, I can see it? Anyone else having issues posting from Google pictures after having had Picassa for so long that worked so well?
I can see it.
Please share with me the trick for posting from the google photos. It never works for me.

Google can generate a link for you, but that wouldn't work. Instead I went back to right clicking and copy image address. That din't work. So finally I clicked the generated link and opened that and finally did a right click and copy from there. Success at last. berkeley google for taking a great hosting site (Picassa) and borking it up mightily.
mtn wrote: The one good thing I've seen from the piss poor candidates this election is that no one is really putting up signs either way.
This has also been my observation.
Only politician sign I ever put up was for a guy whose mother was a patient of mine. She is a sweet old lady, and the guy her son was running against is a real piece of work.
I would put up a "Hillary for Prison 2016" one though. Have seen a few Trump bumper stickers, two houses with Trump yard signs and one with Clinton-Kaine. Not a lot of people seem to like either one of them.
I have a couple of die cut GRM stickers they threw in with some shirts I bought, might stick those on for next autocross season.
i've never understood the political yard signs. Like someone is gonna drive by and see it and be like "huh, i guess i will vote for canidate X now" then see's one down the street for the other canidate, "or maybe i will vote for canidate Y now...". rinse and repeat that all the way up to the voting booth, which ever the last sign he saw will get his vote.
Not saying that give anyone a right to come steal it from your yard, i would be pissed if anyone took anything from my yard.
Most political signs around here are posted on the terrace, the grassy area between the street and the sidewalk, which is city property. So no one would be trespassing.
But since we are required to mow the grass, I guess a certain sense of ownership exists.

I know a person who did this after the 3rd one went. She is now up to a 4' x 8' she has zip tied to her porch.

This is important for two reasons. 1. Who has the sign. If it is someone influential in a neighborhood it will help. 2. Shows support and helps with group think on people who go vote without thinking about it.

Yeah, I'm in this camp. Especially since I'd put pretty solid money that the majority of my neighborhood leans the opposite way politically than SWMBO and I do (though there is a house further up the street- the only one in our neighborhood- with similarly-aligned signs). Doubly so since we live one house away from the back entrance to a HS & a Middle School and you KNOW the kids would be messing with the signs regardless of what leaning they were.

I enjoy politics. I obviously have my candidates based on policy, character and where I think the country should go, but I enjoy the science and art behind politics.
That being said the # of berkeley ups this year has been hilarious to watch.
No matter who you support or why, it hasn't been boring. Unless you were supporting Lincoln Chaffee. That was boring.

That was one joke in last week's SNL that didn't get as many laughs as I thought it should have- when in her closing statement 'Hillary' said, "You can vote for Donald Trump, or you can vote for the Republican..."
Aaargh, now I have the David Pumpkins song stuck in my head... >_<

I don't think it was in reference to anything that specific, but that she's closer to what used to be the traditional Republican positions than hardcore Democrats or- as the joke implies- her opponent.

I just can’t decide between Giant Meteor or Camacho…that’s it, I’m going to tally up the lawn signs I see for each and go with it.
I live on a corner. On Sunday morning, I noticed that someone had placed a Trump sign at the heavily wooded edge of my property. It's on a curve and very obvious to anyone driving by. I'm not sure if someone placed it there or if kids stole it and relocated it there. Two days later, it's gone.
Just an observation.
