Yep, just like the title says.
I have a few hours to kill while waiting around in the Cleveland area this week.
What to do?

rock and roll hall of fame and Dicks last resort restaurant, 2 or so hr (I think) trip south to Mid-Ohio
Mid-Ohio is about 1.5 hours from Cleveland; it's closer to Columbus. If your coming from the airport you can take the RTA into downtown Cleveland.
Cleveland is especially full of them. They tend to stop on the side of the road, in the fast lane and hold the laser gun out the driver's door. Also note in Cleveland that it is mostly 55 mph in the city highways. Also be aware of photo radar units. Basically, it sucks for driving.
When you say "Cleveland Area' roughly what part? City or suburb?

9 years of sales driving, 320,000+ overall miles, and 1 Ohio State Trooper that pulled me over for speeding on I271 as I was headed to Eastlake, Ohio.
I will be in Stow on Tuesday night and will have a few hours on Wednesday before I head back to the airport.
I might do the rock/roll museum.
In the future, you may find it easier to fly into the Akron/Canton Airport for visits to Stow
It can be a bit easier than CLE

Check out the Crawford Long Auto Aviation Museum. They have a couple interesting antique race cars there, including the real Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It's near the Case Western campus so I spent a lot of spare time there when I was there.
On the waterfront near the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you can also tour a WW2 submarine. There's also a drag strip and kart track in nearby Thompson, OH. (Thompson Dragway)
Is the area by the river downtown still a hoping party area? I think they used to call it the Flats.
Most of the fun stuff on the river moved uphill a few blocks and is centered on W. 6th St near W. St. Clair

My customers cover the entire Cleveland area, so no airport is better as I usually hit it all.
SWA flys from Midway Chicago (easiest for me) to Cleveland for $49.00 each way. One hour flight.
How much easier is Akron/Canton? United direct is $298 and Airtran flys Chicago to North Carolina to Akron for $250 and all day.

I have all the midwestern states. I refuse to name cities and throw stones.

Thanks. I'm here 5 days a week... and it's snow...
your timing kinda sucks on this one. as you've probably noticed, it's snowing today and will through tomorrow; however the weather this weekend was real nice - clear and 50's. March was pretty mild and we traditionally get one last blast of winter late - you've found it. The Rock-n-Roll HOF induction was this past weekend, Choppers car club show, some track day at Nelson Ledges, etc.
since you're close by, you should check out Gasoline Alley, 870 North Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Bath, Ohio. You're right across the valley (around Steeles Corners Rd, I'm assuming) from there. It's an old service station that's now a bar/restaurant. Great food/service/selection and of course automobilia galore. Check out the truck cam/connecting rod footrails at the bar. Everything from sandwiches to filet. Aren't too many place like this. i just ate dinner, but i'll let you expense a beer on me.
Take Steele's Corner's west to the bottom the of the valley, go left/south on Akron Peninsula, make an immediate right/west on Bath Rd. Stay straightish on that road (becomes Yellow Creek Rd) for a few miles, when you get to the light you're at Cleve-Mass, make a right and Gasoline Alley's right there on your left. You'll notice that these (and others nearby) are fun roads, especially when it's not snowing.
Crawford Auto/Aviation is cool (not sure on schedule), RnR HOF, and all that. If you need anything from Summit Racing you're also nearby (sometimes there are scratch/dent/returned deals). The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is also worth driving through/around. There's all kinds of canal and railroad stuff.

That's a pretty good flight via SWA. My recommendation to the other airport was mostly based on the fact that it is closer to Stow.

I was tight on my schedule, but I did shoot over here and have a ham and swiss cheese sandwich. Small place and an even smaller sign! Great food and awesome car stuff.
You failed to mention all the cool bicycles hanging from the ceiling!!
I expensed a Pepsi. Thank you
