Stupid body mods

So body mods are a thing, I get that.  I have a couple and kinda like them.  But some, we should all agree are just dumb.  This is an example of one of those.  Seriously people WTF?

Is he a runner?  These could be speed holes.

I think I can guarantee this guy isn’t a runner.  Looks more like medieval torture than voluntary body mod.

I don't get it. His (or her) body, his or her money...you be you. Not my thing but if they want it, what do I care?

With my change in employment status I'm already thinking ahead to what to wear to interviews.  I'm glad I'm just considering what would be appropriate in my wardrobe rather than 'how quickly can I grow my hair so a potential employer can't see what a dip E36 M3 I am who made holes through perfectly good ears'.  I can't wait to see the reconstruction surgery when this goes out of fashion.  A cute little tramp stamp is one thing, but damn, this is almost worse than regular gauging in the lower lobe.

if you are going to do modifications to your ears.. at least make them pointed like an elf (or spock)

Nothing says "I hate money and I never want to have any." more than unconventional visible body modifications.

Body mods are for people who are too big of Bob Costas to join up and have some foreigner modify a part of your body for you.

Wouldn't that conch removal thing whistle if you were walking into the wind?  That alone would drive me nuts.
