Nope. Reference to arrested development. Please read up. I'm a super fan. It's a play on the sudden valley from the show.
No trolling involved.

Plausibility deniability isn't that plausible.
The Bluth home falls into ruin because of shoddy building practices. There is no evidence that was the underlying cause in the article you linked. The article noted the subdivision was approved and started 30yrs ago, the "featured" home was built over a decade ago and unforeseeable geological changes are the root cause.
Corporate incompetence and shenanigans aren't the droids you're loking for.
It's a running gag through the show that sudden valley is a bad name choice. I just thought the name fit that place.
If anything you are the boy who cried troll here.
You can always tell a Milford man.
There is a Sudden Valley in Washington state, we drove out of our way to take a photo of the sign to send to a friend who is a Bluth fanatic.
It reminds me of a salad dressing, but somehow I don't want to eat it.
someone on another forum i hang out on (an astronomy one) was talking about something like this happening in a landfill right in the San Francisco area...
maybe the Gods have finally decided to swallow that whole part of the country up?
