To Chuck Norris, that is a slow Tuesday...
RIP tho.
Bummer. Always thought he was a good dude, pretty good on the feud but remember him most from Hogans Heroes.
I grew up watching him on 'Hogan's Heroes'.
My favorite Dawson role:
Nasty and fighting back right up to the end.

I've often called "The Running Man" the thinking man's action movie. It's like Network--except with ammo & E36 M3 that blows up.
And now, if you'll excuse me...I have to go buy some more steroids. RIP, Richard.
Just saw this on the news and my first thought was:
"I thought he had ppassed a few years ago."
Richard Dawson is THE only Family Feud host...all the rest were/are pale imitations, as far as I'm concerned.
Richard Dawson was in Munster Go Home...he had a role as an English truck driver, and ironically, his accent WASN'T as thick as it was on Hogan's Heroes. Aside from Running Man (an excellent movie and good role) he played a "baddie" in at least one episode of Outer Limits (in the B&W years). He played a sort of personal secretary/assistant to the head "baddie" and was a sorto f snitch who ratted on the hero.

Ray Combs is the one I remember the best. And when I hear "survey says" I hear it in his voice.
My brother was his best friend in highschool. They played football together and somehow my brother broke Ray's leg. By the time I came along Ray was becoming a well known comedian. He always came by our house to visit on Christmas. I remember how excited he was when he told us about the role he landed in Overboard. Even though it was a very tiny role. I also remember getting to go to his comedy club when I was very young. Funny Bones in cincy.
Such a sad end for a very funny man.
