Hmm. Front bumper with winch (be the savior of the stuck people that way).

33x10.5 tires. BFG AT look good in this size.

Flare as needed to keep rock chips down.

"RhinoLiner" the bottom of the sheet metal up to the trim line, not the undercarriage or you'll never get a nut or bolt off again.

I vote white wagon wheels and 215/85-16s. No flares.

You won't need fender flares to cover them. My old work truck was an 03 F150 4x4 with 265/75-16s and those didn't stick out at all.

I thought about the 235s. Truck has 265/75 right now. The 235 is a huge donut and weighs so much more comparatively. The selection of A/T is also a tiny bit limited in 235mm. Most tires that size are H/T rib or A/S

The 235/85s should be darn close to the same OD as your 265/75s. I forget that every 235/85 is E-rated, which would explain the big weight increase. I think Cooper makes the ST in 235/85 but I could be wrong; I haven't shopped that size in a while.

You could always jump to a 255/85 if you wanna run 33s BFG used to make a 33x9.5 AT but it looks like they stopped. That's like the ultimate pizza cutter.

You could always get some Treadwrights. They have an A/T and M/T in the 235/85/16 size and an A/T in the 215/85/16 as well. The prices are decent and they have free shipping.

I had a set of the Claws on my old 4x4 F250 light duty (same as the f150-7700) and the did really well offroad, nice and luggy and could really dig in. I currently have the Warden II's on my 2000 f250 2wd and they have been good over the past 10,000 miles and they got me through some pretty sloppy trails to get back to my buddies broken down dirt bike at the offroad park

I had them on my previous truck. Dont use them on heavy trucks.... it was 11k lbs though. They get tread squirm bad.

Does anyone make Bullitt-style wheels that fit it?

215/85 is the same diameter as the 245/75 (sorry, I originally said 265 but I was mistaken). I could go to 235/85 and gain a little diameter (which would also correct the speedo reading a little fast) but 235mm isn't exactly pizza cutter. I know its only a 1/2", but it counts

My main goal with tires is A) looks, B) rolling resistance/MPG, and C) snow traction. I realize that B and C are really splitting hairs on whether or not they'll make a noticeable difference, so for the sake of this arguement, we'll say the real reason is A.

I will likely have to go with an E-range tire anyway. Since this is an F150-7700, that puts it squarely in D-range territory, but no one makes Ds anymore. So I'm looking at standard load (which is what I have on there now and they're squishy with a load of plywood or towing) or E-range. 215/85 E tires seems like a good fit. 235/85 would fit the looks category, but with its excessive weight and potentially similar-to-stock footprint, it may not help (and actually may hurt) MPG. At least that is the logical deduction. Who knows how it will actually work in practice.

Since its the funky 7-lug, probably not. There are tons of aftermarket wheels, just not any Bullitt that I've seen.

Pizza cutters - Yes, A/Ts will get you anywhere you need to go year round. Its what I run on my 4x4 and they see everything.

Wheels - If you are painting what you have Lite gray or white, aftermarket go with solid steels painted gray or green to match your truck with chrome dog dish hubcaps

Fender flares - NO! my pet peeve is trucks with giant fender flares and little tiny tires.

Bumpers - Don't change them unless your stock ones are trashed or you want to add a winch.

Bedliner the Rockers - Yes, as long as you have it done with a quality product, Linex ect. Don't use a cheap do it yourself product. It will just make a nice truck look trashy.

yea i've only gotten up to ~8000 lbs with my truck loaded with scrap steel, i didnt drive very far but they seem to do fine with that load.

I was thinking the flares if I did aftermarket wheels with a different offset. But you're right... that would be a lot of offset to need flares with 215s. Pizza cutters look better tucked.

I like the idea of chrome dog dishes. The factory center caps attach by snapping onto the lugs, so I could reuse them.
