Seffner?  I guess, not what I'd call close, its a solid hour drive minimum, and not in fun traffic.

The area he is in is a lot more land on most plots.  Look at Myakka and other more rural areas closer to Bradenton.

Being holed up in lutz/odessa and working in Brooksville and Spring Hill... everything was a hike.

The travel times needed to get around the area near Tampa/Sarasota is interesting.  Everything looks close on the map, but it's always so far away.  Mostly due to traffic of course.
