One other nitpick with ours - if we're out of town for several days, air gets into the system causing one of its two breakers to trip. Of course this usually happens early morning to whoever is first in the shower. Unfortunately, for whatever reason the breakers for the water heater are outsize on the back of the house, so it's not exactly convenient to reset it.

I have 2 rinaii gas tankless wh's. They work great! I've had that setup now for 8 or 9 years. They are run parallel and when the demand is high both heaters are on. When  the demand is low only one is on but each time it starts it switches heaters. The electric ones don't seem to work as well from what I've seen. Ymmv.
